A friend of mine has been on an amazing adventure around the world with her husband and one of their favourite places was South America. So for her birthday her husband 
asked me to make a South America themed cake. I decided to make a chocolate chilli cake of the Chile flag and call it a Chocolate Chile Cake! As I knew the party was going to have all ages, young and old, I wanted the cake to be appropriate for all and not too hot and fiery. So I made a normal chocolate cake and then I used slabs of chocolate chilli in the icing giving it a wonderful hint of heat. The cake was a huge success and enjoyed by all, even the children!
