It is so great to find a food market anywhere but I love it when I find one by accident. London is known for its biggest market, Borough Market. But this was a little one in the city that I discovered while doing some shopping. I love walking through and smelling all the wonderful aromas of the different foods. I walked away from this market with lunch, dessert and dinner. There was lots more I could have bought but I restricted myself. For lunch I decided in a Chorizo sausage on a roll. I chose some salted fudge for dessert. I was not so impressed with the fudge, it was more like a caramel. I prefer a hard fudge. I have been looking for the perfect fudge for a while. The kind I have a recipe for, but refuse to make as I know I will eat it all and I just want a block or two. (Willpower flies out the window when it comes to good fudge!) I will have to keep on looking! Dinner was good, a lovely homemade pie!(more on that in another post) It was a great foodie day, one that kept me smiling for a long time!
