I bought a new cookbook recently and decided to try something out of it and these chocolate cheese cake brownies caught my eye. It was by no means a quick process, there was lots of cooling in the fridge time and baking and re-cooling time so it was time-consuming. By the end of it I felt very unimpressed and prepared myself for a let down. However I was wrong, horribly wrong. The end result was mouth wateringly delicious! The combination of the chewy chocolate base and the smooth cheesy top made it feel like a little piece of heaven in my mouth. The creamy cheese cake top also balanced out the rich chocolate base. It was definitely worth the amount of time it took! I had a few friends round for tea to try them and they were a hit! The plate in the fridge has slowly diminished, leaving only crumbs! If I had to rate the end product I would give it 5 stars! However I felt the recipe could be clearer and give the baker a few more guidelines.
